Quality Control Specialist

About the role

The Quality Control Specialist will support KIA's Mexico Quality Center by applying standard methodologies and procedures to deliver efficient and accurate solutions for vehicle quality. This on‑site position in Pesquería focuses on maintaining high technical standards and ensuring product excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and resolve quality issues affecting vehicle production.
• Monitor external quality indexes and report findings.
• Track containment actions and verify the effectiveness of countermeasures.
• Provide continuous feedback to upper management on inline quality concerns.
• Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure compliance and successful implementation of quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechatronics, electrical or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience (internship experience accepted).
• Advanced conversational English.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of vehicle systems and performance.
• Familiarity with core quality tools.
• Experience or knowledge of Six Sigma, lean manufacturing and ISO 9001 standards.
