Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to support engineering and production processes at our manufacturing sites. The role ensures compliance with VISHAY quality standards, drives continuous improvement, and collaborates closely with production and plant management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality control processes for inbound, in‑process, and laboratory testing.
• Manage complaint handling, perform root‑cause analysis of non‑conformances, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct on‑site production quality audits and inspections, taking immediate measures when required.
• Evaluate and report on production quality performance, supporting the definition of effective improvement measures.
• Participate in quality meetings with production and plant management to align on objectives.
• Provide technical analytics and support for the design, realization, and implementation of assigned processes.
• Document and plan training activities for relevant parts of the organization.

Required profile

• Experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality standards and guidelines, including VISHAY specifications.
• Proven ability to conduct audits, inspections, and root‑cause investigations.
• Strong analytical skills and capability to generate performance reports.
• Effective communication with cross‑functional teams and plant management.
