Quality Engineer – QMS Compliance & Process Improvement

About the role

The Quality Engineer ensures the proper application of LATECOERE’s Quality Management System (QMS) within a dedicated program, aligning with customer standards and regulations. The role supports the Quality Site Manager in delivering actions and practices that reflect the true interpretation of the QMS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and promote a quality culture for products and processes.
• Identify and implement effective process control systems for development, qualification, and ongoing manufacturing.
• Verify that products meet customer specifications and applicable documentation.
• Facilitate root‑cause analysis using problem‑solving techniques and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor performance KPIs related to quality processes.
• Implement corrective actions from audit results and customer claims.
• Create First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
• Provide engineering support to operations to ensure consistent application of quality techniques.
• Control documentation to ensure compliant deliveries and report production issues.
• Participate in 8D and 5‑Why analyses for non‑conformances.
• Support internal and external meetings as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency with Excel.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Team‑oriented, flexible, and results‑focused.
• Demonstrated productivity, initiative, and responsibility.
• Ability to clearly analyze and explain problems.
