Quality Manager

About the role

ABB is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the deployment of its quality strategy for the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will drive quality culture, systems, and tools to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support communication and implementation of quality management within the local unit.
• Identify and address quality risks and opportunities using data analytics.
• Analyze quality data to detect failures, non‑conformances, and trends.
• Facilitate resolution of customer cases through robust root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve world‑class performance targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in quality systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical engineering and working with electrical utilities.
• Proven team‑development and leadership skills, including managing unionized and non‑unionized staff.
• Advanced English proficiency.
