Quality Manager - Powertrain

About the role

The Quality Manager – Powertrain leads the execution of Polaris' Quality Policy and Quality Operating System at the Monterrey engine and transmission assembly plant. This role partners with Safety, Engineering, Operations, Materials, Supply Chain and Product Development to ensure products exceed customer expectations while supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the plant quality strategy, systems and organization to achieve high product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in root‑cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with the Polaris Production System and support new product introduction activities.
• Maintain and improve quality metrics, data analysis, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Develop talent, coach staff and build high‑performing quality teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, engineering or plant operations.
• Direct experience with combustion engine, CVT or automatic transmission assembly processes.
• Proven leadership of quality organizations and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
