About the role
The Rare Disease Partner will lead demand generation for UCB’s rare‑disease therapies across public and private institutions in Mexico. Based in Monterrey or Guadalajara, you will educate key decision‑makers about disease indications, facilitate patient access, and remove barriers to treatment adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Adapt the value proposition for different payers and institutional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams to develop access strategies.
- Identify and address reimbursement and acquisition barriers, working closely with the Access Team.
- Manage institutional guidelines for drug access and act as a liaison to optimise procurement processes.
- Develop and execute patient‑flow strategies to ensure timely diagnosis and referral.
- Educate healthcare professionals on clinical guidelines, diagnosis pathways, and case‑management best practices.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience collaborating with Market Access, Medical, and Commercial functions.
- Familiarity with the Mexican healthcare system, including public and private reimbursement processes.
- Proven ability to build strategic relationships with key institutional decision‑makers.
