Raw Material Planner – Supply Chain

About the role

Barry Callebaut is seeking a Raw Material Planner to manage the supply of raw materials for its North American sites. The role ensures that factories have the right materials at the right time to execute production plans, supporting the company’s commitment to sustainability and chocolate innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Create reports to compare raw material forecasts with actual consumption and inventory levels.
• Evaluate site requirements and develop supply plans aligned with forecasts and lead times.
• Review supply plans regularly with each site to ensure alignment between plan and execution.
• Generate purchase orders, track them, and follow up with vendors.
• Coordinate site‑to‑site transfers to resolve supply gaps.
• Support factories with slow‑moving or obsolete material action plans.
• Assist with raw material block stock management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in raw material or supply planning.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Understanding of production planning and sourcing processes.
• Solution‑oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment.
