Reliability/FA Engineer 1

About the role

Skyworks is seeking a Reliability/FA Engineer to evaluate material properties, production techniques, and component performance from a reliability perspective. The role supports design engineering by advising on component selection, testing, and statistical process control to ensure product reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate reliability of materials, properties, and production techniques.
• Advise design engineering on selection, application, and testing of electronic components and systems.
• Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures to meet reliability targets.
• Determine reliability requirements for components and systems to satisfy company, customer, and regulatory objectives.
• Develop acceleration techniques and analytical tools for early identification of potential reliability issues.
• Propose changes in component selection, design, or formulation to improve system and process reliability.

Required profile

• Experience evaluating reliability of electronic components and systems.
• Knowledge of statistical process control and reliability testing methods.
• Ability to develop acceleration techniques and analytical tools.
• Strong communication skills to advise design teams and recommend improvements.
