Reliability/FA Engineer

About the role

Skyworks is seeking a Reliability/FA Engineer to evaluate and improve the reliability of materials, components and processes used in its high‑performance analog semiconductor products. The role focuses on providing technical guidance to design engineering, developing test methods and statistical controls, and ensuring products meet company, customer and regulatory reliability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assess materials, properties and production techniques from a reliability perspective.
• Advise design engineers on selection, application and testing of electronic components and systems.
• Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures to achieve required reliability levels.
• Define reliability requirements for components and systems to satisfy internal, customer and governmental standards.
• Develop new acceleration techniques and analytical tools for early detection of potential reliability issues in new products, packaging and processes.
• Propose changes in component selection, system application, design or formulation to enhance reliability.

Required profile

• Experience evaluating reliability of electronic components and systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with design and production teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for developing test methods and reliability models.
