Remote Desktop Support Associate – Helpdesk

About the role

NTT DATA Services is looking for a Remote Desktop Support Associate to provide first‑line (L1) technical assistance for hardware and Microsoft Office applications. The position is full‑time, remote, and may require daytime support on weekends and holidays, with occasional overtime based on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound technical support calls, email, and self‑service requests.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues and problems with MS Office packages.
• Escalate complex incidents to higher‑level support groups when necessary.
• Document troubleshooting steps, incident details, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Apply diagnostic techniques to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of service‑desk or help‑desk experience (or equivalent education and troubleshooting background).
• At least 1 year of hands‑on technical troubleshooting experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and understand caller needs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to schedule changes.
