Remote Stylist – Travel to Design Projects

About the role

Empire & Co. is seeking a Stylist to bring design concepts to life across a range of residential projects. The position is remote‑based, with frequent travel to project sites nationwide to style, install and present finished spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site styling, installation and final layout for model homes, multifamily, senior living, student residences and amenity spaces.
• Style furniture, artwork, accessories, textiles and décor according to approved design plans.
• Direct installation teams, make real‑time design decisions, and adjust layouts when site conditions change.
• Conduct client walkthroughs, present completed spaces and gather feedback.
• Inspect finished areas for quality, accuracy and completeness, resolving any missing or damaged items.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, warehouse and procurement teams to ensure seamless execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in interior styling or residential design.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to project sites across the country.
• Strong client‑facing presence and communication skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset for on‑site challenges.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
