Remote Support Technician (LATAM)

About the role

Join Interprefy’s Operations and Client Delivery team as a Remote Support Technician focused on the LATAM region. You will be the front‑line technical contact for interpreters, speakers and attendees during live multilingual events, ensuring a seamless experience while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide real‑time technical assistance to clients during live events, guiding participants with confidence and professionalism.
• Prepare and configure event environments, troubleshoot issues on RSI platforms, video‑conferencing tools and AV setups.
• Respond quickly under pressure, maintain control of the situation, and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Senior Technicians and global teams across different time zones.
• Develop expertise in event technology through hands‑on training and progressive responsibility.

Required profile

• Strong client‑facing skills with a calm, professional demeanor.
• Experience in multicultural or global environments, comfortable working across time zones.
• Proficient English (B2+); additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote setting.
• Exposure to virtual, hybrid or onsite events and basic AV knowledge is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital meeting tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with video‑conferencing platforms and basic AV/conferencing setups.
• Technical confidence to learn new tools quickly.
