Safety and Security Manager – Mexico

About the role

We are looking for a Safety and Security Manager to lead safety and loss‑prevention initiatives across our distribution warehouses and LMS delivery sites in Mexico. The role ensures compliance with Mexican safety, fire‑protection and labour regulations while fostering a culture of proactive risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage safety and loss‑prevention programs for all NSC distribution warehouses and LMS delivery locations in Mexico.
• Ensure compliance with local Mexican laws and regulations on safety, fire protection and warehousing.
• Develop, implement and maintain the company’s safety management system covering mechanical, electrical and construction operations.
• Organise safety training, emergency drills and lead incident investigations, producing reports and corrective actions.
• Supervise the security team and conduct regular inspections of warehouses and delivery sites.
• Travel occasionally within Mexico to support safety management at various LMS sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (flexible for outstanding candidates).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in safety management or loss prevention in warehouses, logistics or distribution centres.
• Fluent Spanish and working proficiency in English or Chinese.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican compliance requirements for safety, fire, labour and warehousing.
• Ability to identify logistics‑related safety risks, manage emergency response and lead teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work under pressure.
