Sales Account Manager – Contract Logistics

About the role

The Sales Account Manager is the main point of contact for key customers in contract logistics, responsible for building long‑term relationships, guaranteeing service quality, and driving growth within existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day communication with assigned customers to ensure operational excellence and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and support teams to meet KPIs and contractual commitments.
• Analyze performance metrics, prepare reports, and lead regular business reviews with clients.
• Handle issue resolution and escalation to maintain service continuity.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Develop strategic account plans to drive retention, upselling and cross‑selling.
• Support pricing reviews, contract renewals and negotiations.
• Act as the “voice of the customer” within the organization, aligning client expectations with operational capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in account management, operations or customer service within warehousing and logistics.
• Strong background in contract logistics (warehousing and land transportation).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with Power BI or other data‑visualisation tools.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or continuous‑improvement methodologies.
