About the role
The Sales Manager will drive Cartier’s market share and brand presentation across internal boutiques and wholesale partners throughout Mexico. Reporting to regional leadership, you will oversee both retail and wholesale channels, ensuring sales growth, profitability and an exceptional client experience.
Key responsibilities
- Set and monitor annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets for each boutique and partner location.
- Manage area turnover, budget control, and T&E expenses while delivering profitable results.
- Develop and execute action plans aligned with Maison strategy, including openings, expansions and closures.
- Negotiate commercial terms with department stores and partners, ensuring legal and contractual compliance.
- Coach boutique managers on performance metrics, merchandising standards and stock optimisation.
- Analyse client satisfaction data and lead initiatives to enhance service quality.
- Recruit, mentor and develop boutique teams, fostering clear career paths and talent retention.
- Maintain regular in‑store presence to ensure visual standards, stock levels and operational excellence.
Required profile
- Proven experience in luxury retail or wholesale sales management, preferably within the fashion or watch sector.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Excellent leadership and coaching abilities, capable of developing high‑performing teams.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with merchandising, operations and marketing teams.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency required for the Mexican market.
