Security Engineer (Hybrid – Hermosillo or Mexico City)

About the role

We are seeking a Security Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity, working from either Hermosillo or Mexico City. The role focuses on protecting cloud environments, endpoints, and network assets while supporting incident response and security investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate security tools across AWS cloud environments.
• Manage and tune CrowdStrike Falcon (or similar EDR) and SIEM solutions.
• Analyze logs, IDS/IPS alerts, and vulnerability scan results.
• Support incident response, threat hunting, and security investigations.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain security roadmaps and documentation.
• Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Security Operations, Cloud Security, or related cybersecurity roles.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, CrowdStrike Falcon (or similar EDR), SIEM tools, and IDS/IPS technologies.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience supporting incident response and vulnerability management processes.
• Basic scripting ability in Python or Bash.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
