Security Lead – Site Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Security Lead will direct daily security operations at a Corning site, creating a safe environment for employees, visitors and assets. Reporting to site leadership, this role supervises security personnel, coordinates with external agencies and drives continuous improvement of security programs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site security officers, including performance management, training and daily operational support.
• Collaborate with site leadership and contract security providers to ensure effective coverage and service delivery.
• Implement security policies, procedures and employee awareness initiatives to raise site security standards.
• Support investigations, security assessments and site projects while ensuring compliance with security systems and programs.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a security or leadership role.
• Previous experience supervising teams or leading security operations.
• Strong decision‑making, sound judgment and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and professional interaction at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and provide clear direction.
• Positive attitude, strong initiative and results‑oriented work ethic.
