Security Manager

About the role

Ericsson is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead security operations across its footprint in Mexico. You will be responsible for managing operational security risks, conducting investigations, and supporting incident response while contributing to broader security initiatives throughout the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Support and execute security operations across Ericsson’s sites in Mexico.
• Lead internal security investigations and manage incident response activities.
• Assess security risks and recommend mitigation measures for employees, contractors, assets, and operations.
• Conduct risk assessments for field operations and high‑risk contractor environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide practical, risk‑based security guidance.
• Support crisis management, business continuity, and security response as needed.
• Oversee physical security controls, facility security requirements, and access management processes.
• Contribute to security reporting, compliance, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist with executive protection, travel security, and related activities when required.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in corporate security, security operations, risk management, or investigations.
• Proven track record managing security incidents and conducting investigations.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience in executive protection, executive escort, travel security, or facility security is preferred.

Required skills

• Professional security certifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI, CISSP or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of physical security, personnel security, and operational security practices.
• Familiarity with security technologies and AI‑enabled risk assessment tools.
