Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with applicable standards and company policies.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and perform account reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes and ensure general ledger integrity.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, credit‑card reconciliations and monitor cash movements.
• Validate payroll calculations, record payroll‑related journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, analyze variances and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and reporting for senior management and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, support internal and external audits, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, HR, Product and external partners to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience working in fast‑paced environments and handling multiple priorities.
• Ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
