Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead our accounting function in a fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing environment. The role combines hands‑on accounting work with team leadership, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while supporting strategic budgeting and ERP optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and develop Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable clerks.
• Oversee daily AP and AR processes, ensuring timely vendor payments and effective collections.
• Reconcile accounts, resolve complex discrepancies, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing activities and support accrual accounting.
• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls and company policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements and support ERP (NetSuite) optimization.

Required profile

• 6+ years of progressive accounting or financial operations experience.
• Previous experience supervising AP/AR teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (preferred).
• CPA certification or progress toward certification (a plus).
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English and ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
