Senior Accountant - Logistics & Regional Operations

About the Position

Join a leading international logistics player in a high-impact role based in Santa Fe, CDMX. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing complex financial reconciliations and driving regional accounting excellence within a fast-paced transnational environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of accountants to ensure operational excellence.
• Manage high-volume reconciliations of cash collections (counters and customs) against bank statements and accounting records.
• Perform complex reconciliations of customs taxes with client payments and accounting entries.
• Monitor, identify, and investigate discrepancies and variances during the reconciliation process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes and establish effective work plans.
• Analyze monthly revenue streams and provide detailed explanations for variances.
• Drive strategic projects related to revenue management and cash flow control.
• Prepare professional presentations, dashboards, and trend analyses for senior management.
• Act as a key point of contact for both internal and external audits.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in multinational retail, customs, or within a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Proven experience working at a regional scale.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics/Administration.
• Advanced English proficiency (essential for regional coordination).
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team coordination.
