Senior Accountant – Mexico (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Mexico operations in Querétaro. The role will work closely with international finance teams, supporting day‑to‑day accounting activities and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable, expense reimbursements and vendor payments.
• Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations and support month‑end close.
• Assist in financial reporting, revenue recognition and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with payroll, tax and external accounting providers.
• Ensure adherence to Mexican tax, accounting and labor regulations.
• Support process improvements, internal controls and ERP initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 6–9 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of AP, month‑end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and intermediate English proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) is a plus.
• CPA/Contador Público certification is a plus.
