Senior Accountant – Record to Report (R2R)

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Record to Report (R2R) is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial closing and reporting within a Shared Services environment. The position focuses on Fixed Assets, General Ledger reconciliations, and foreign‑currency reclassifications, and requires bilingual Spanish‑English communication.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily financial data and perform financial analyses.
• Prepare account reconciliations and post manual journal entries with proper documentation.
• Approve balance‑sheet reconciliations and manual journal entries.
• Identify and resolve unreconciled items, supporting risk assessment and mitigation.
• Execute month‑end close activities according to deadlines.
• Support process improvements and team effectiveness.
• Mentor less‑experienced team members and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of General Ledger/R2R experience, preferably in a Shared Services setting.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
