Senior Analyst – Legal Compliance (Crypto)

About the role

Mastercard Transaction Services (MTS) is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead legal compliance efforts for crypto‑related activities. You will work within a fast‑growing compliance team, ensuring that Mastercard’s crypto services meet global AML, sanctions, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute AML and sanctions compliance processes, including onboarding, enhanced due diligence, transaction monitoring, and investigations for Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) and other crypto entities.
• Perform due‑diligence reviews for new crypto clients and partners, aligning with internal policies and external regulations.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and enhanced due‑diligence of existing crypto customers using blockchain analytics tools.
• Support investigations of suspicious activities, potential breaches, and complex crypto transactions, delivering timely resolutions.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and refining compliance frameworks and procedures for crypto services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AML, sanctions, and crypto compliance within financial services or payments.
• Strong investigative skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for virtual asset service providers.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining a robust compliance environment.
