Senior Associate, EFA Management

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to support the EFA Management team in Mexico City. The role combines financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering to drive performance for the Surgical Business Planning and Analysis function.

Key responsibilities

• Apply accounting principles to prepare balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow, and consolidated financial statements.
• Compile, verify, and record financial transactions while ensuring compliance with accounting and internal control policies.
• Design, modify, and maintain accounting systems for accurate transaction recognition.
• Prepare technical accounting and financial reporting position papers for review.
• Support the Surgical BPA by delivering monthly and quarterly reports, KPIs, and acting as the main contact for internal stakeholders.
• Provide accurate data to the EFA Committee, monitor contract performance, and coordinate actions with Business Unit management.
• Collaborate with Surgical, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to resolve minor conflicts.
• Coordinate with Financial Reporting & Analysis, BPA, and Business Units for proper revenue recognition and month‑end closing tasks.
• Implement corporate EFA‑Finance policies, develop local procedures, and improve management reporting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in accounts receivable, customer service, or a related finance function.
• Conversational English proficiency.
