Senior Buyer

About the role

The Senior Buyer will lead the purchasing strategy for multiple service categories across Club Med’s North America resorts and offices. Reporting to the North America Director of Purchasing and Supply Chain, you will act as the primary partner for internal clients, ensuring the right quality, cost and lead‑time for all sourced services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement category strategies for Energy, Corporate & HR services, IT, and Marketing services.
• Manage the full procure‑to‑pay cycle: sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contract execution and vendor performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with technical, energy, IT and marketing teams to align specifications and drive innovation.
• Lead tender processes, select suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with legal and internal policies.
• Provide regular business‑review updates to internal stakeholders and continuously improve service levels.
• Support the global Group purchasing strategy through market research and supplier panel development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior procurement or category management roles, preferably in a multi‑site environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
