Senior Director, Finance Operations Optimization Lead

About the role

The Senior Director – Finance Ops Optimization Lead drives continuous operational excellence, standardization, and transformation across global finance functions such as Record to Report, Payroll, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance Operations, the role partners with internal units, functional hubs, Genpact, DTS, contractors and third‑party vendors to build a transparent, scalable service delivery model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an Agile team of Optimization associates supporting Finance Operations leadership.
• Maintain and regularly update a detailed service catalogue (L1‑L4 taxonomy) across all functions.
• Define and enforce global standard processes using a scoring methodology and value‑stream mapping.
• Champion best‑in‑class practices to ensure consistency, compliance and operational excellence worldwide.
• Oversee Standard Practices & Procedures, Risk Control Matrix and Business Continuity Plan.
• Track audit points and Management Action Plans, driving timely resolution and policy simplification.
• Provide oversight of operational team size, location and performance metrics.
