Senior Engineer – Developer Velocity

About the role

Join Levi Strauss & Co.'s Developer Velocity Squad within the Shared Platform & Services Technology Organization. You will accelerate software development speed and quality by removing bottlenecks, optimizing tools, and embedding AI across the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Standardize, implement, and maintain the enterprise DevOps toolchain.
• Design scalable service catalogs, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines with advanced strategies such as blue‑green and canary releases.
• Drive adoption of AI‑enabled DevOps practices to boost developer productivity and reduce operational overhead.
• Integrate generative AI and AIOps capabilities into developer workflows.
• Provide ongoing support for production and development environments.
• Lead knowledge‑sharing sessions and training on DevOps tools.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Measure and improve developer experience through data‑driven insights.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise‑scale DevOps automation.
• Strong background in AI‑driven engineering practices.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and mentor teams.
