Senior FP&A Analyst

About the role

Playlist’s ClassPass business is seeking a highly motivated Senior FP&A Analyst to own monthly and quarterly reporting, support the annual operating plan, and build budgets and forecasts that drive strategic decisions. You will partner across the organization to translate performance data into clear, actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages with commentary and variance analysis.
• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and long‑term outlooks, including the annual operating plan.
• Analyze drivers of variance between forecast and actual results and collaborate with stakeholders on corrective actions.
• Own and operationalize key financial metrics in partnership with Pricing & Inventory and Business Intelligence teams.
• Monitor health of critical functions such as marketing spend, payments, revenue collection, and partner payouts.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis, business cases, and ROI assessments for initiatives.
• Support competitive and market analysis related to pricing and promotions.
• Contribute to regular financial updates for functional and executive leadership.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity/venture capital, or a finance/strategy role at a fast‑growing technology company.
• Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of P&L mechanics and key financial drivers.
• High attention to detail and a proactive, curious mindset.
• Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
