Senior General Ledger Accountant

About the role

Flix is looking for a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join its finance team. You will support core ledger functions, ensure data accuracy, and contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Maintain compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance, tax and legal teams to ensure accuracy.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Keep organized, up‑to‑date financial records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong background in Record‑to‑Report (R2R) / Reconciliation‑to‑Reporting (RTR).
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP financial reporting standards.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Fluent in English.
