Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will join HERE’s Internal Audit team to help deliver the annual audit plan across the global organization. Working closely with audit leadership, you will assess controls, identify improvement opportunities, and provide practical insights that strengthen governance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute audits across financial, operational and compliance areas.
• Conduct walkthroughs, test controls, and evaluate design and operating effectiveness.
• Prepare clear, constructive audit findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business units to promote a strong, adaptable control environment.
• Contribute to internal audit reporting, initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Experienced internal audit professional with solid knowledge of risk management, internal controls and governance.
• Proven ability to lead audit activities independently while partnering with audit leadership.
• Comfortable working across multiple functions, regions and cultures in a global organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
