Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Join the global Audit team at Colgate-Palmolive as a Senior Internal Auditor. You will lead financial and operational audit engagements across the company’s subsidiaries worldwide, providing assurance to senior management and the Audit Committee while travelling extensively.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report end‑to‑end audit engagements, including data analysis, risk assessment and testing in line with internal standards.
• Prepare audit agendas, lead meetings with stakeholders and draft high‑quality audit reports for senior management review.
• Coach and train staff auditors, ensuring adherence to audit programs and quality metrics.
• Identify process improvements and support resolution of operational issues that affect audit performance.
• Conduct special compliance reviews, digital productivity projects and other strategic assignments as directed by senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial, corporate or public accounting environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 70 % of the time.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to apply data‑analytics techniques and AI‑enabled tools.
• Familiarity with DOMO reporting or similar business intelligence platforms.
