Senior Manager, Construction - Greenfield

About the role

We are building a flagship, Industry 4.0 manufacturing plant in Tlaxcala, Mexico. As Senior Manager, Construction – Greenfield you will lead the end‑to‑end execution of all building and civil works, ensuring the facility meets Coca‑Cola’s high standards for cost, schedule, quality, safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the engineering design firm to deliver construction‑ready designs that comply with local regulations and Coca‑Cola standards.
• Lead on‑site construction execution, managing contractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders to achieve cost, schedule, quality and safety targets.
• Oversee startup activities, working with project and operations teams to ensure smooth commissioning and site readiness.
• Maintain project governance, monitor performance, manage risks and interfaces, and report progress to senior leadership.
• Lead and align multidisciplinary teams, fostering accountability and high performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of construction management experience on large‑scale capital projects (>USD 100M), preferably in industrial, FMCG or food‑and‑beverage environments.
• Proven track record delivering greenfield projects and managing contractors, engineering firms and complex stakeholder matrices.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• LEED or equivalent sustainable building certification (preferred).
• PMP certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of Green Building Codes and Standards.
• Experience with Environmental Impact Assessment, Soil Analysis and Water Resource Management.
