Senior Manager, Government & Public Affairs (Mexico)

About the role

Join a dynamic, high‑performing team at the LEGO Group and lead government and public affairs activities across Mexico. You will shape the company’s engagement strategy, build relationships with public officials, and protect the brand’s interests in a fast‑moving regulatory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive government engagement strategy for LEGO’s operations in Mexico.
• Manage day‑to‑day and strategic interactions with government partners, coordinating with local business units.
• Create and execute GPA advocacy plans that align with corporate objectives.
• Monitor, analyse, and communicate legislative and policy trends affecting the business, including environmental, labour, trade, and logistics issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams across the Americas and other regions to craft policy messages and positions.
• Lead participation in trade associations, setting strategy and influencing industry issues.
• Drive large, cross‑functional projects with regional impact and ensure alignment of global and local advocacy efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Government Relations, Political Science, Economics, Social Science or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in government relations, either within a legislative/executive body, trade association, or corporation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proven ability to work independently, set priorities, and lead complex projects.
