Senior Manager, Government & Public Affairs (Mexico)

About the role

Join LEGO Group’s dynamic Government & Public Affairs team in Mexico as a Senior Manager. You will shape the company’s engagement with government partners, influence policy, and protect the brand’s interests across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive government engagement strategy for LEGO’s operations in Mexico.
• Manage day‑to‑day and strategic relationships with government agencies, aligning efforts with local business units.
• Create and execute GPA advocacy plans that support corporate objectives.
• Monitor, analyse, and disseminate legislative and policy trends affecting the business (e.g., environmental policy, labour law, trade, logistics).
• Collaborate with internal functions across the Americas and other regions to craft policy messages and positions.
• Lead trade‑association activities, set strategy, and influence industry issues.
• Drive large, cross‑functional projects with regional impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Government Relations, Political Science, Economics, Social Science or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in government relations within a legislative/executive body, trade association, or corporation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience with manufacturing‑related policy issues is preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently, negotiate, and resolve conflicts.
