Senior Manager, Program Management

About the role

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management to join its CIO Strategy & Operations team. You will lead a group of project managers and own the delivery of high‑impact, cross‑functional programs that support the company’s global technology transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of project managers, conducting performance reviews and creating development plans.
• Translate business strategy into detailed program plans, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks and benefits.
• Maintain governance structures, operating rhythms, PMO standards, tools and methodologies across the portfolio.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies, providing thought leadership to ensure successful outcomes.
• Drive collaboration with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions and provide clear status reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, complex programs in a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong leadership judgement with the ability to navigate ambiguity quickly.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior executives.
• Track record of fostering a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.
