Senior Mechanical Engineer – Product Design

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering support for field quality issues, drive product improvements, and lead complex programs in a commercial manufacturing environment. The role focuses on enhancing product safety, cost‑competitiveness, and certification compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely engineering solutions for field quality issues and improve product quality.
• Support factory operations with product engineering and design for commercial manufacturing plants.
• Maintain accurate engineering data, including BOMs, drawings, and specifications.
• Lead mid‑ to high‑complexity projects with minimal supervision.
• Develop and execute test and qualification plans for product enhancements.
• Manage UL, ETL, and other agency certification reports.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop standard, world‑class products that are safe and cost‑effective.
• Provide technical assistance for troubleshooting and product support.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Product/Design Engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience implementing product changes.
• Strong knowledge of design processes, tools, and parametric engineering.
• Proven project‑management capabilities.
• Fluent English communication skills (minimum 90%).
