Senior Project Manager – Industrialization & Automation (Automotive)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead industrialization and automation projects for the automotive sector. Based in Querétaro, you will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving project success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and coordinate technical teams and service advisors, fostering a proactive work environment.
• Resolve conflicts and enforce safety protocols, legal requirements and industry regulations.
• Control cash flow, monitor project budgets and optimise costs.
• Track project KPIs such as milestones, delivery dates and customer satisfaction.
• Identify timeline and cost‑reduction opportunities and propose revenue‑generating extensions.
• Oversee purchasing activities, detect bottlenecks and improve cash‑flow efficiency.
• Supervise mechanical design phases, manage customer approvals and ensure traceability of PRs and POs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (automation, mechanics, electronics or electricity).
• 5‑6 years of experience leading industrialization and automation projects in the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of industrial processes, quality management systems and automotive regulations.
• Proven leadership, communication, planning, organisation and decision‑making abilities.
• Bilingual Spanish/English and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
