Senior Project Manager – Telecom & Managed Services

About the role

Thales is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of telecom and enterprise service projects. You will act as the primary interface between delivery teams, customers and senior leadership, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, financial targets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure for telecom or managed‑services engagements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies and resource allocations.
• Track and control project financials, including revenue, cost, margin and forecasts.
• Identify, mitigate and escalate risks and issues, especially in multi‑vendor environments.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across network, infrastructure, service delivery and operations.
• Provide regular status reporting to customers, leadership and sales stakeholders.
• Drive governance, audit readiness and contractual compliance.
• Manage change requests, scope evolution and obtain customer approvals.
• Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Telecom or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience delivering large‑scale projects in telecom, cloud infrastructure or managed‑services environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑country or multi‑team deliveries.
• Strong stakeholder management with enterprise customers.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile, Scrum or SAFe are desirable.
• High resilience, ownership mindset and ability to operate under pressure.
