Senior Quality Engineer – 2nd Shift

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for the 2nd shift at its Salvarcar Plant in Ciudad Juarez. The role is an individual contributor position focused on quality engineering within a regulated medical‑device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create quality‑engineering schematics, detailed layouts, and supply‑chain deliverables.
• Define and monitor key performance metrics, goals, and objectives.
• Collaborate with management to drive decisions on quality‑engineering methods and customer‑tailored solutions.
• Develop and implement quality standards, design control, and verification & validation processes.
• Apply project‑management skills to support new‑product development.
• Conduct audits, problem‑solving activities, and mentor diverse employees on quality topics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 4–6 years of quality, manufacturing, or R&D experience in medical devices or another regulated industry.
• ASQ certification, Six Sigma experience, and knowledge of Process Excellence tools are desirable.
• Strong understanding of GMP, QSR, GD&T, and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to train and mentor staff on quality matters.
