Senior SAP Tax Specialist

About the role

The Senior SAP Tax Specialist will design, configure and deliver SAP‑based tax solutions that support cbrands’ global finance and tax strategy. Working closely with the Product Manager and cross‑functional teams, you will translate tax requirements into functional specifications and ensure seamless implementation across US and Mexico tax regimes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the product manager in shaping the tax product roadmap and prioritising short‑ and long‑term objectives.
• Configure SAP tax engine and localisations for Mexico, including direct, indirect, Pillar 2, US excise and foreign‑trade reporting.
• Develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces and enhancements and drive detailed conversations with technical teams.
• Define testing strategies, create test scripts and lead UAT execution with business stakeholders.
• Document Agile stories, groom the backlog and ensure clear acceptance criteria for the development team.
• Act as liaison between business owners and technical teams throughout sprint cycles.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with SAP tax configuration and global tax processes (US and MX).
• Strong understanding of tax reporting, provisions, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to work in an Agile environment and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
