Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Fountain is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its fast‑growing engineering team. You will work on a high‑impact, enterprise‑grade platform that powers frontline workforce management for thousands of global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain new product features and enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to turn requirements into user‑focused web applications.
• Review code, mentor peers, and contribute to a culture of high quality and automated testing.
• Implement RESTful API endpoints and extend the Ruby on Rails backend and PostgreSQL data models.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimise the system for speed, scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• 7+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience.
• Proven track record delivering product‑oriented features in complex, enterprise environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort working with legacy codebases.
• Experience collaborating in globally distributed, cross‑functional teams.
