Senior Sourcing Specialist – Retail (Mexico City)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to support the expansion of a Fortune 100 retail corporation’s buying office in Mexico. The role is hands‑on, managing end‑to‑end purchase order flow, vendor compliance and logistics troubleshooting in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and track 20‑30 high‑volume purchase orders weekly while ensuring data integrity.
• Oversee vendor onboarding and enforce strict quality, labeling and ticketing regulations.
• Partner with freight forwarders and distribution centers to resolve supply‑chain bottlenecks.
• Serve as the primary liaison between global buying offices and local vendors.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in sourcing, logistics or supply‑chain tracking, preferably in retail, apparel or FMCG.
• Fluent business‑level English for global reporting and system management.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, purchase‑order systems and a hands‑on execution mindset.
• Based in Mexico City with a hybrid work arrangement.
