Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to lead the design, implementation, and launch of local tax and financial products and services in Mexico. The role will focus on supporting online commerce platforms, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and building strong relationships with government authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end implementation and launch of tax‑related products and services, from concept to market.
• Manage tax filing processes and support business registration and compliance for e‑commerce platforms such as Mercado Libre, TikTok Shop, and Amazon.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with tax authorities and finance departments, monitor policy changes, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Handle compliance reviews, regulatory audits, and resolve unexpected tax or regulatory issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tax, finance, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong cross‑cultural communication and negotiation abilities, with willingness to travel as needed.
• Result‑oriented, independent, and capable of working effectively under pressure.
