Senior Treasury Manager

About the role

The Senior Manager – Cash Office Operations leads the design, implementation and scaling of a centralized cash office model for Walmart Mexico. This strategic position ensures governance, risk oversight and alignment with accounting standards while driving productivity through standardisation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and roll out the centralized Cash Office operating model from pilot to full deployment.
• Own governance, controls and risk management for cash reconciliation and policy close activities.
• Partner with Operations, Controllership, Treasury, Technology and external providers to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage SLA, KPI and productivity metrics to maintain service stability and performance excellence.
• Drive automation, digitalisation and continuous‑improvement initiatives across cash and reconciliation processes.
• Provide executive‑level escalation management and decision support during hyper‑care and steady‑state phases.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls and Walmart accounting and ethics standards.
• Develop leadership capability within management and analyst layers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Record‑to‑Report, Cash Operations, Shared Services or Finance Transformation.
• Proven experience leading large operational teams and complex transformation programmes.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
