SEO Manager – Remote (Higher Education Marketing)

About the role

We are seeking an SEO Manager to lead organic growth strategies for multiple higher‑education partner accounts. The role is fully remote and involves guiding SEO projects from conception through delivery, aligning with enrollment goals and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies across partner accounts.
• Build SEO roadmaps tied to enrollment targets and business outcomes.
• Conduct keyword, topic, competitor, entity, and search‑intent research.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives: site audits, crawl analysis, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and internal linking.
• Collaborate with Web Development teams to prioritize and implement technical improvements.
• Optimize website content, landing pages, and content hubs for visibility, user experience, and AI discoverability.
• Identify content gaps, monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and other SEO KPIs.
• Produce monthly SEO reports and present strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay current on algorithm updates, AI search advancements, and emerging SEO tools.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience with proven organic growth results.
• Experience managing SEO strategy across multiple websites or client accounts.
• Strong technical SEO expertise, including audits, indexing, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
• Deep understanding of keyword research, search intent, content strategy, and performance analysis.
