Service Engineer – LATAM

About the role

We are looking for a Service Engineer to develop and lead our technical sales support activities across Mexico, the Caribbean and the broader LATAM region. The role combines pre‑sales and after‑sales assistance, field visits to distributors, and close collaboration with both local and headquarters teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support via phone, email, video conference and on‑site visits.
• Deliver pre‑sales and after‑sales assistance for our solar products and solutions.
• Document project details, client interactions and customer visits accurately.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by giving constructive feedback to HQ and the LATAM service manager.
• Support product trainings, roadshows, webinars and local exhibitions.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn and grow in the Mexican solar energy market.
• Based in Merida, Guadalajara or Mexico City with willingness to travel (~20%).
• 1‑3 years of experience in the solar sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy (Master’s a plus).
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Basic technical understanding of Solar PV systems.
• Knowledge of power electronics.
• Familiarity with Mexican PV regulations.
