Site Quality Manager

About the role

Valeo North America is looking for a Site Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives at its manufacturing facility. The role ensures product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction through robust quality management systems and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead all Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce defects, increase efficiency and optimize product quality.
• Oversee creation, review and control of quality documentation, procedures and records.
• Apply project‑management principles to plan, execute and monitor quality‑related projects.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for non‑conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance with industry standards, regulations and customer requirements.
• Develop risk‑management strategies to identify and mitigate quality risks.
• Provide leadership to the quality team and foster a culture of excellence.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and supply‑chain teams to embed quality best practices.
• Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in a quality management role, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated expertise in continuous‑improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Strong knowledge of QMS standards (ISO/TS, IATF) and regulatory compliance.
