Social Media Manager, Consumer Apps Marketing

About the role

As a Social Media Manager within Consumer Apps Marketing, you will showcase Google’s AI innovations—such as Gemini—to a global audience. You will blend visual, written and experiential storytelling to amplify Google’s products on social platforms, leveraging local trends and cultural relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain social media calendars, integrating hyper‑local trends and timely conversations.
• Identify, develop and amplify regional activations across Google’s social channels.
• Create breakthrough creative content, including design mock‑ups, copy and prototypes.
• Evaluate and execute partnership and amplification opportunities for both regional and global campaigns.
• Translate offline activities into engaging social conversations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in growth, performance, direct‑response, social or digital marketing.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and business stakeholders.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity in a large, complex organization.
• Passion for AI and experience adopting AI tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social analytics platforms such as Sprinklr and Brandwatch.
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
