About the role

Amazon Devices is seeking a Software Development Engineer to shape the shopping experience for millions of customers across online and offline channels. You will work on innovative platforms that combine machine learning, big data, and modern AWS services to deliver seamless device sales and subscription experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute long‑term technical initiatives that span the entire customer journey from search to checkout.
• Design, develop, and maintain stateless microservices and web‑based applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers across multiple teams to launch new features and greenfield projects.
• Participate actively in code and design reviews, ensuring high quality and scalability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience designing or architecting reliable, scalable systems.
• Strong customer obsession and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
